Compiler error problem

Dear team , My name is Aneesh from Kerala, India. I have using Domjudge server version 5.0.3 and its functioning very well also its deployed in Amazon web server, now my problem is some of the code is compilation is unsuccessful the description is Compiling failed with exitcode 1, compiler output: collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status So please help me ....asap Regards Aneesh

Hi Jaap, I increase the MEMRESERVED variable in the java executable compile script to 4GB then I do compile java again, problem output : Problem: A - A Submitted: 09:39 Language: Java Result: compiler-error Compilation output Compiling failed with exitcode 1, compiler output: Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Hello, First I think domjudge is amazing, i like it and i want congratulations for your work I have a few questions, 1- Version 5.2.0, do you know when will be stable. 2-Can i include another files in the problem, for example i have a main file .c and this main file has a file fichero.h to include data in file main or another file with functions to include in main file to use. 3- Can I upload and submmit more than one exercise at the same time, for example i have two exercises A and B. 4- the same that point 3 but in the jury system execute more than one exercise at the same time. I have using Domjudge server version 5.0.3 and its functioning very well also its deployed in Amazon web server, now my problem is, i had created a contest on Domjudge and the participants are successfully submitted the solutions and compiled by Domjudge, But one of our jury member trying to access the view source code from submission page it will showing blank page only on the top of the page all tabs are shown like (home, balloon,problems,judgehost,etc..). User accounts are shared via a MySQL replication, which makes user data read-only for all but one instance, all other data, including roles, is not shared.) * links in the menu are customizable in the settings * scoreboards can be shuffled in case you don't want to reveal which problems were solved (see contest 6 at the link given above for an example) * the judge instances are integrated into our website, the news system and the account system of the university (probably nothing that somebody else would need) We also created a framework to create random test data for problems from some seeds. This allows us to run failing submissions of teams on small random inputs until we find one that makes their submission fail. That way, we usually find much smaller inputs that are easier to debug. moving to a PHP framework

Hello all, During/after the hackathon of 24 January the issue was raised that the codebase of DOMjudge is getting more and more complex and that it would be a good plan to move to a PHP framework to separate code and HTML layout via templating and using an ORM to abstract away the database. The discussion was initiated in a github issue here: https://github.com/DOMjudge/domjudge/issues/198 and I'm attending everyone here to it. If you have any experience with PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, or others, feel free to chime in, or even help with some initial testing to determine which framework to choose. Jaap

Hi All, What is the difference between the output limit in the global settings and that in the problem wise setting? When we set the Output limit for a specific problem, it gives TLE. If the output limit for the same problem is not set, it never exits from the memory. the status shows "JUDGING". It means, the global output limit is not being considered by DOM. Can anyone help please?

Possible to show runtime errors to competitors?

Time specific for a problem & Global time limit

Guys, A doubt: There is a "time limit" for each problem. There is a "time limit overshoot" in Configuration Settings. Does it mean that if we set the "time limit overshoot" as more than the maximum time limit for one of the problems in the contest, it will affect the others with the lower time limit? For example: Contest 1 has 5 problems 4 problems have 1 sec time limit. Rest 4 has 4 sec time limit. And let us say one of the submissions for 1 sec problem set goes into infinite loop. Will the problem exit as per 1 sec time limit for that problem or will I wait for the 4 sec global "time limit overshoot"?

Then, I add --disable-submitclient in configure line. This was not happened. -- After, when I run make, I get error about symbol in /usr/lib/libm.so. File in wrong format. -- Then, I followed Install again, I check url /share/domjudge/www/jury => it a white page. problem at login web authentication

Hi, I cannot log in with the default data admin/admin http://isc.unsaac.edu.pe/cuscontest/public/login.php but when I do this through curl it seems to be working fine: curl --data "login=admin&passwd=admin&cmd=login" http://isc.unsaac.edu.pe/cuscontest/public/login.php what could be the reason for this behaviour, hope you can help me. Creating team and user accounts in batch mode

Hi, I would like to create teams and user accounts in batch (e.g. from a spreadsheet). I'm using DOMjudge 4.0.5 and I see that there is an "Import / export" option, but I can't find much documentation on this. I have also somewhat successfully crafted my own SQL statements to insert tuples into the tables directly, but the problem is that I have to ask for the current id for the auto_increment fields of various tables and match them up. It's not a big deal, but if there is an easier option then I would like to know about it. Thanks. Judgehost Shared Directories?

I will be running several judgehosts in an environment where the OS image is coming from a flash drive. NFS is also available to the contest server. It looks like several of the judgehost directories (judgings, log, run, and tmp) create sub-directories by hostname and could therefore be shared over NFS. Is there any documentation that describes the best practices for doing that? I read through the administration manual but didn't see anything specifically addressing that topic. Marc

Sample Data for Contestants?

Greetings! Perhaps I'm mistaken...but isn't there a way for contestants to download the input and output files marked "sample" for a given file from inside DOMjudge? I thought this was possible but I don't see how, and I looked through the documentation. One other question, if someone knows: is the information about the contest start time and end time available inside the renderScoreBoardTable function? I figured out how to do everything else I want with the scoreboard but there is one thing I want to do once the contest is half over. It looks like the information might be in the $cdata variable--is there a description of the internal data structures somewhere? Our contest is Saturday and it looks like things are coming together...this is the first year I have been delving deep into DOMjudge, and I am impressed with what I have found. Could you please look on the domjudge-live image under /var/lib/domjudge/judgings/domjudge-live-0/endpoint-default There should be subdirectories of the form cX-sYY-jZZ for each submission/judging there. Check in the webinterface what one of the java compiler-errror's submission and judging ID is and please send a zip file of that directory. The files compile.{out,tmp,meta} may contain some clues as to what goes wrong. Scoreboard Timing?

Hello! We are working on re-implementing a couple of changes we made to a earlier version on DOMjudge in Southern California. One of the changes is to time to the second instead of the minute. It looks to me like the scorecache_ tables are what is used to build the scoreboard displays for the public and the jury. I see the time is currently stored in those tables in minutes, but it also looks like there is one function (calcScoreRow) that populates the table, and it is doing the division by 60 to get minutes. If the scorecache_ tables are not used for anything else, I see no reason why I couldn't change that function in order to get seconds. Is my understanding correct? Marc

hi, i want to install the domjudge and the judgehost in separate machine.but the problem is i cant connect the domjudge to the judgehost. the instruction said: "the DOMjudge REST API credentials on domserver need to be synchronized to each judgehost and edited to point to the domserver." is the /etc/domjudge/restapi.secret the right file?? this is my restapi.secret in judgehost server : default http://10.10.30.71/domjudge/api domjudge oP0MRGIegQtV6rJd 10.10.30.71 is the domjudge's ip address. and 10.10.30.73 is the judgehost's ip address. i cant solve this problem for around 2 weeks now. any help will really be appreciated

DOMjudge 5.0.1 and Java in "chroot" (Fedora 22 64-bit)

Greetings! I am configuring DOMjudge 5.0.1 in a Fedora 22 64-bit environment. Most things seem to be working. I am trying to get Oracle Java 8u60 to run correctly in a "chroot" environment. I built the chroot directory more-or-less manually, installing Java into it (under /opt) and copying the necessary library files. I also copied /bin/bash into the chroot area along with its necessary library, and linked sh to bash. I edited the java_javac_detect script to run /opt/java/bin/java as "program". If I run a chroot command from the shell, bash starts, and I can run "/opt/java/bin/java -version". It complains about the lack of a monotonic clock but otherwise seems to run. I then tried to run the "Hello World" tests. C and C++ work fine. Java fails. I went into the execution directory and the program.err file says that it could not exec /opt/java/bin/java. Has anyone tried to get this kind of configuration running? Any ideas about how to best configure Java in this environment? Suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Marc

DOMjudge (automatic) team logins

Hey everyone, I was wondering how other people handle logging teams in to domjudge during their competitions? We’ve always have volunteers go around to the team computers and manually log them in before the contest started, but I’ve always found that to be a bit tedious. We never liked the idea of giving the teams their own passwords since they could easily share them with each other. Since we control the contest environment, I found a way to use a local squid proxy to log teams in automatically, without revealing the credentials to the team. I thought I’d share this since someone else might be interested. How to run special compiled code (MPI)

Hi, I need to run MPI code, so for compiling phase it is ok I run *mpicc -lm -static -DONLINE_JUDGE -DDOMJUDGE -o $DEST "$@" * at my run file. But to run the program, I need to use *mpirun -n 16 ./compiledcode * the 16 is the number of process I have and should be configurable as the -n flag. I didn't find it on Manual. I don’t know yet what is the problem. I think it is not reading the input. I tested it using our Queue manager (Torque) since we are using on a cluster. The compile phase is ok. Now I need to create the compare file and try to understand why it is freezing. Something maybe wrong with my code. So it prints the ordered vector and the speedup, I need to check the result with the out file and check if the speedup if greater than 1. Thank You. -- Leandro Negri Zanotto

Hi, I am working with an Parallel Programming Course. So I need to compare the output file and check if the result if greater than 1. This is the speedup value. Is it possible to do both checks? Speedup and Output Comparison. Thanks -- Leandro Negri Zanotto
